Moving into a first property is coming later than ever for most eligible home owners in the UK today, with the soaring property prices of early 2003 to late 2008 followed by a dramatic demise in value and resulting ballooning of those left processing Negative Income housing, for some the very idea of owning their first house is still not a destiny set in stone, or for that matter brick and mortar.

For the lucky ones out there who have taken the plunge, the time soon comes to start decorating, as you begin adding those all-important ‘personal touches’ to your new property you begin to put your mark and turn four walls into an extension of personality. Canvassing the landscape to make the property your own and unique, akin to dogs marking their territory, the leader, or as we like to call them, the have-a-go DIY-er, builder and painters / decorater is never short of a home maintenance task which any one can undertake simply by getting “stuck-in.”

From removing old wall paper to painting over tired and dreary walls in bright and funky colours… decorating is fun and easy, create beautiful and contemporary spaces in your home by adding your own elements to your property is one sure way to turn those four walls into a space that is commanding of the people who now possess this pinnacle of Englishness, their castle and refining or defining the finish of your home in the Twenty First century is never quite complete without the addition of home electrical appliances.

From the somewhat atypical television set in the living room, to the stereo and dvd player and electric fire, moving to the kitchen, where no home is complete without a fan oven, cooker hob, extractor fan, even coffee machines or electric kettle for that matter. With some many home electrical appliances stacked into the typical kitchen, it is no wonder that refurbishment costs in kitchens are so pricey and run into the thousands of pounds, but with such professional kitchen designs – a modern twist on home appliances – appears to be building them into the kitchen cabinets and discrete workspaces such as corners and although utility rooms are becoming more common in the modern home and are often to be found in homes which date after the 1980’s in Britain, with these comes the popularity of such ergonomically designed and featured show home touches as fitted ovens, recessed microwaves and recessed and plumbed coffee makers, further illustrating the rise in popularity of these home electrical items.
